Max Quality 3D Detail
Don't settle for standard paper slips when you can deliver a tactile experience. As the digital world grows, your printed pieces do the heavy lifting in real life. Choose luxury papers and finishes that make colors pop, add a premium feel, and save your audience from flimsy throwaways.
Authors, libraries, and businesses use these pieces as a practical tool and a quiet reminder. Our custom bookmark printing services redefine quality with options that demand to be held.
With these bookmarks, we are not here to churn out thick stock markers for books, we are here to create a connection and a tactile moment. Leverage from our exclusive velvet triple-layer stocks or the 3D tactile gloss to make your design pop and print with confidence.
Thoughts Note: These pieces work best when your message feels personal and easy to keep, that is why we focus on texture, balance, and clean layout.
Editor Notes:
Why pay $20 to $60 at conventional shops for a design. You deserve professional results without the extra fees, so we offer Free Graphic Design Setup for your order. We leverage AI tools combined with human expertise to create fast, beautiful design samples for you, completely free of cost. If you already have a vision, we bring it to life. For highly complex or illustrative projects, we also offer a Paid Design Service if needed.
We send a free design email proof for approval, and we print only after you approve it.
16 Sizes Comparison
We offer many sizes because one size does not fit every project. The industry standard is 2" x 6", and we also carry 16 additional sizes so you can match the book, audience, and layout.
If you are unsure, start with the standard size or measure your needs and choose the best fit. Our purpose is to cover everything from mass-market paperbacks to large academic textbooks, so you never limit size or creativity with us and you save time on revisions.
Our customers favorite, the Trifecta Velvet Series, this is a paper stock that can feel as thick as a credit card, but with a deeper look of colors among a varied cap of layers. Must see to understand!

We offer everything from the industry-standard 14pt to our exclusive luxury styles. Remember, the paper stock communicates as much value as the words printed on it. Choose the texture that fits your brand story.
Our experience speaks clearly when advising on best practices for your print files. Follow these simple rules to ensure your final product looks like it was made by a pro!
Use the very top area for the logo because it is the first part people see while the piece sits inside a book. It should stay visible most of the time, so keep it bold and clean.
We recommend a minimum of 300dpi resolution, and you can scale it up to 350dpi for sharper, cleaner print detail. Online images arrive at 72dpi by default, so send them to us and we run a free image resolution upgrade first.
The back side can be as important as the front. Books do not sit the same way, so a blank back can look unfinished. Leverage both sides to add massive additional value.
If you prefer to build your design from scratch without using our pre-built templates, use these specs to ensure perfection. These details help you understand exactly how we print.
| Bleed | 0.1" total (0.05" on each side). Example: A 2x6 bookmark file should be 2.1" x 6.1". |
| Safe Zone | Keep text 0.125" away from the trim line to avoid it getting chopped off. |
| Color Mode | CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black). RGB files will be auto-converted and may shift in color. |
| Rich Black | For deep blacks, use: C=60 M=40 Y=40 K=100. (Plain K=100 looks gray on large areas). |
| Mask Files | For Raised UV/Foil, provide a separate file with 100% Black (K) where you want the effect. |
Versatile Industry Uses
We have seen our customers unlock incredible creativity with this product thanks to its versatile sizing and sturdy paper options. The unique shape allows for applications far beyond books. Here are some powerful ways to leverage this format:
Don't have a design? Don't worry. Simply place your order and select Free Design Setup from the dropdown menu, our team will create a professional digital proof so you save time. Need it faster? Check out our Paid Design Services for complex requests. We will not print until you say "I love it."
As simple as a bookmark design might look, you might still want to let our guideline templates to help you with bleed areas, safe zone marking and CMYK color setting already implemented on the file. So grab any size you like and start mounting your desing on top of it with confidence.
Bookmark pricing depends on size, paper stock, finish, sides printed, and quantity. Use the calculator for your exact total. Per-piece cost drops as quantity increases, with noticeable breaks at 250, 500, and 1000. Free Design Setup is included on qualifying orders so you pay only for print, not a separate design fee.
2x6 is the industry default and fits most mass-market paperbacks and trade books without protruding from the pages. 2x8 adds room for a reading list, website, or author bio on the back without a large price jump. Choose 2x8 when the reverse side needs more than a logo and a single URL.
Yes. Free Design Setup is included on qualifying orders at no extra charge. Send your logo, a cover image, or notes about your book or brand. Our designers build the layout, place QR codes if needed, and email a digital proof for approval. Revisions are handled before production starts.
14pt gloss is the most popular choice for retail giveaways and book fair handouts: bright color, smooth feel, and enough stiffness for daily use in a bag or nightstand. 16pt matte adds noticeable weight and a back you can write on. Trifecta velvet is the soft-touch premium option for a keepsake feel.
Yes on uncoated, kraft, and most matte stocks. Gloss UV coating seals the surface and most ballpoint pens bead or skip on it. If readers, students, or customers need to write notes or signatures, choose matte, uncoated, or a high-gloss front with an uncoated back option when available in the calculator.
Trifecta is a thick triple-layer stock with a colored core edge visible along the long sides in red, black, blue, or green. The face carries a soft velvet lamination that feels suede-like in hand. It stands apart from standard gloss at signing tables and bookstore counters and gives people a reason to keep the bookmark.
Gloss makes cover art and bold type pop at signing tables and produces vivid color under event lighting. Matte feels more literary and handles fingerprints during long events without showing smudges. Many authors print a gloss front for visual impact and an uncoated or matte back so readers can add a personal note.
Standard production on most 14pt gloss stock runs 2 to 4 business days after proof approval. Specialty finishes like Trifecta velvet, raised foil, or raised UV add 5 to 7 production days. Rush tiers may be available on selected standard stocks. Add your zip for shipping transit time after production completes.
Yes. We email a digital proof for every order, whether you print 50 or 5000 bookmarks. The proof shows trim size, safe zones, and both sides if double-sided. Production starts only after you approve. Request any change and we revise before the job goes to press at no extra charge.
Print-ready PDF with embedded fonts and 300 DPI images is preferred. We also accept AI, EPS, PNG, and JPG files. For bookmarks based on phone photos, resolution matters at the final print size. Free Design Setup can rebuild files from cover images or phone art when resolution allows a clean output.
The online minimum is typically 100 bookmarks for standard sizes. Smaller test runs may be possible on request. Use the calculator to compare price breaks at 250, 500, and 1000 pieces. Larger quantities reduce per-piece cost and are common for book launch events, library programs, and retail brand giveaways.
Yes. Full-color both-sides printing (4/4) is a popular choice for author promotions. The front carries cover art and title; the back works well for a reading list, event schedule, website URL, discount code, or short author bio. Double-sided adds minimal cost compared to single-sided runs at the same quantity.
Not here. Smart pricing at Cheap RUSH Printing comes from gang-run production efficiency, not from using thin cardstock or low-calibration presses. You still get stiff stock, accurate CMYK color, and a human proof review before anything prints. Order a sample run if you want to feel the quality before committing to a large quantity.
Bleed is extra art extending 0.125 inch past the trim on each side so color prints to the finished edge after cutting. A standard 2x6 bookmark with full bleed on all sides requires a working canvas of 2.25 by 6.25 inches at 300 DPI. We show trim and safe zone guides on the proof.
Yes. Free Design Setup includes QR code generation and placement. Tell us the URL or action to link to, such as a newsletter, audiobook sample, or event landing page. We size the code for reliable scanning on a narrow bookmark and test scanability during the proof review before production starts.
No. The calculator total covers printing and selected shipping. Free Design Setup is included on qualifying orders and is not billed separately. Rush tiers show their pricing premium at checkout before you pay. There are no plate fees, file handling charges, or surprise add-ons on standard bookmark orders.
Yes. We print in Florida and ship bookmarks to all 50 states. Enter your zip code in the calculator for carrier options and estimated transit times. Rush shipping is available alongside rush production when a book launch or event deadline requires the fastest possible delivery from our facility.
Production is the print-and-pack time after proof approval. Shipping is carrier transit from our Florida facility to your address. A 3-day production tier plus 2-day shipping means 5 days total before you hold the bookmarks, not 3. Both numbers are shown clearly at checkout so your event planning is accurate.
Yes. Libraries, schools, and community organizations order bookmarks in bulk for summer reading programs, literacy events, and patron giveaways. Quantities of 500 to 5000 are common for these runs. Free Design Setup helps when you only have a program logo and a list of featured titles or themes to work from.
Raised UV applies a thick, clear, glossy layer you can feel over logos or titles on a matte base card. Raised foil adds a metallic gold or silver shine with texture that catches light from different angles. Both require extra curing time, typically adding 3 to 5 production days compared to standard gloss options.
Yes. 18pt premium kraft uses recycled fiber content with a natural brown appearance. White ink does not print on kraft, so lighter areas in your design show as paper color. This look suits indie authors, nature themes, and eco-minded library programs. Ask for current availability when selecting stock in the calculator.
Yes. Send your cover file or let Free Design Setup use it as a reference. We align colors, type style, and imagery so the bookmark feels like a physical extension of the book rather than a separate promotional piece. Matching brand and cover design builds recognition at signings, fairs, and retail displays.
Not always. Standard gloss and matte coatings protect well for everyday reading use. Soft-touch lamination or velvet finishes add extra scuff resistance when bookmarks circulate through library systems, live in school bags for months, or need to survive a busy book signing event without nicks or peeling edges.
Yes. Short runs starting at 100 work well for launch parties and author signing tours. If you plan multiple events across the season, ordering a slightly larger quantity up front reduces per-piece cost and avoids reorder lead time when the next event approaches faster than expected.
2x6 fits impulse bins, receipt stuffers, and point-of-sale display pockets cleanly. 2x8 works when you need a coupon code, loyalty URL, or event calendar on the back. Match size to how much copy you must fit without shrinking type below a comfortable reading size for your target audience.
