How to use this tool

  1. Load your tile pack Drop the enhanced images plus the optional manifest JSON, choose a folder, or upload the ZIP from the splitter.
  2. Confirm grid size Rows and columns fill in automatically from filenames or the manifest. Adjust only if you renamed files.
  3. Download the reunited image Preview the stitch, export PNG or JPG, then check DPI before you upload for printing.
  4. Optional: request free Human + AI help Prefer a real prepress review? Upload your files and note “Reassemble” — our team will run the same task manually with AI assistance and email you back at no charge.

Every step above can also be handled by our team — use the Human + AI upload button if you prefer personal assistance.

Put the pack back together

After you enhance tiles in external AI software, the image grid reassembler reads order numbers, row and column markers, and the optional manifest to rebuild one continuous image.

It pairs with the image grid splitter so large posters and banners can leave as a numbered pack and return as a single file ready for Cheap RUSH Printing.

Works with upscaled tiles

If every tile grew by the same scale factor during AI enhancement, the reassembler enlarges the final canvas to match and places each piece without stretching unevenly.

When overlap was used during the split, crop data from the manifest removes the shared edges so seams stay clean.

Finish for press

Verify the result with the DPI resolution checker, then upload through the file uploader or continue to banner printing.

Frequently asked questions

What files should I upload?

Upload every enhanced tile from the pack. Include the *_tile_manifest.json file when you still have it. You can also drop the original ZIP from the splitter after replacing the tile images inside, or point the folder picker at the directory that holds the numbered files.

What if AI software renamed my tiles?

Renaming makes automatic placement harder. Prefer tools that keep the original filenames. If names were changed but you still have the manifest, rename files back to the names listed in that JSON. Without matching names or order numbers, set rows and columns manually and sort files carefully before upload.

Can tiles be different sizes?

Uniform upscaling across the whole pack works best. If only some tiles were enlarged, seams and alignment will look wrong. Re-run the same AI scale on every tile, or re-split the source and enhance the full set again so every piece shares one scale factor before reassembly.

How do I check the final print file?

Download the reassembled PNG, open the DPI resolution checker, and enter the physical print size you plan to order. Aim for about 300 DPI on most commercial pieces viewed up close, or 150 to 200 DPI on large banners viewed from farther away, then upload the verified file to Cheap RUSH Printing.

Can your team do this for me instead of using the online tool?

Yes. The browser tool is free and private, but if you would rather not rely on it alone, upload your files via our complimentary file uploader and request Human + AI help with “Reassemble”. Our prepress team will review manually — with AI assistance — and reply for free.
